Wow, Melissa! You are having GI problems now, too? Are you taking anti-inflammatories? I have GI troubles, too. Mine are from IBS and having my gallbladder removed. My body never adjusted to the constant bile flow, so I don't tolerate food very well. I hope you get this figured out and hubby finds a job soon. Congrats on getting a move-in date on your house. I think I read that somewhere in this thread. LOL... I can be absent minded sometimes. I think you said December? Everything will fall into place. It always works out one way or another. I'm still thinking of you! Take care. (((hugs)))
Be happy!

yes we will be moving in to the new house in the middle of December.
I had two days of very bad stomach pain and issues. Today I am finally feeling better
I have stopped taking all pain killers to see if I get some stomach pain relief.
I have but now I am having my bone pain again.
It appears to be a trade off
It's probably a silly question but are you taking anti-inflammatories on top of food? Apparently they're not good on an empty stomach. How bad is the bone pain?
How is your fibromyalgia now?
I hope your move goes smoothly and that you are excited about the new house. I hope you love it there!
Surgery March 3, 2009 at almost 58, now 63.
Dr. Askin, Brisbane, Australia
T4-Pelvis, Posterior only
Osteotomies and Laminectomies
Was 68 degrees, now 22 and pain free

If you are on facebook, my daughter has posted pictures
I have to remember to take them with food, as I am in much pain
Melissa--Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving and the abdominal pains are subsiding. I sure hope your husband finds something soon and that your move is as smooth as possible. I'm a veteran mover so I know that's not always possible--I always said I moved when the windows needed washing. Ha. I hope you get settled in and can enjoy! Janet

Hi Melissa. I *think* I found you but can't be sure I have the right person. Do you have a double surname?
How are you feeling with the reduction of pain meds?

Oh Melissa. I'm so sorry. As if you haven't got enough to worry about. How old is your daughter? I always say girls should jump from age 13 to age 25 overnight, to save everyone a lot of pain. Perhaps the stress is getting to her as well? (Be easy if we could all just run away from stress.)
The ulcer diagnosis is not surprising. But sometimes ulcers are caused by a bacteria. Did they get you to do the blow-in-a-balloon test? If it's positive, it's just a matter of taking the correct antibiotic.
I hope some good things happen for you for Christmas.

Congratulations on the house, Melissa. I hope things have worked out with your daughter??? And... I certainly hope your husband's interviews go very well. Sorry to hear about the ulcer diagnosis . Seems like a mix of highs and lows here. I too hope the Christmas season is good to you and your family! Janet

I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter. You and your husband must concentrate on yourselves though, and of course, your son. Your daughter is legally an adult, she must take care of herself when she makes her own decisions though I realise that it's hard to bear. But I'm so happy you've finally got your own home. This is a big step forward, and will lighten your heart. Those three jobs sound promising! Dare I hope 2013 might be the year things come good for you and your family?

I am realizing that right now. I have had no interaction between us, whether it be verbal , email, FB or texting. I have to let her go and let her live her life. We have much to do in the next month. Then in January, I am having GI tests and , hopefully in February having a hip replaced
